Each of my artworks centre around the idea of colours as symbolism for emotion. From the mystic awe shown through a deep turquoise blue to a looming sense of curiosity in a soft greyish-green or the convergence of raging frustration and inner peace with the dichotomy of ruby red and soft blush pink. Each one displaying a past journey of self-discovery through healing by art.
While my own story and emotions certainly inspire my work, I am also inspired by the life journeys of those I meet along the way. Whether they be the wandering traveller in El Salvador, the die-hard humanitarian in Nicaragua or the innovative creator determined to find a better way in Spain. Their stories inspire me to work harder, live in the moment and to have deeper empathy towards others. They inspire me to pursue my love for art and use the platform as a place for healing.
